WAITING LIST PURGE UPDATE INFORMATION
If you check the waiting list and find that you are no longer listed as an applicant, it is a possibility that you may have missed a deadline for our waiting list updates or a letter you were sent.
These updates and deadlines are designed to help our list stay fresh and up to date. This helps ensure that we weed through those applicants who may no longer need assistance or no longer have an interest in our programs as well as those who have not kept their information up to date.
THE FOLLOWING NCFRHA WAITING LISTS ARE UNDERGOING PURGE UPDATES:
- PUBLIC HOUSING (LEVY/GILCHRIST & SUWANNEE)
COMPLETED: 2/6/2025 - 3/6/2025
- SECTION 8 / HCV (LEVY/GILCHRIST)
SCHEDULED FOR: 3/31/2025 - 5/1/2025
In the unfortunate event, you do find you are no longer active on the waiting list, you contact our office to request information regarding the decision.
A few tips to stay active and continue receiving housing information:
- Keep your address current with our agency.
- Reporting address changes to the Post Office does not update your address with our agency. We send all letters via US postal mail to the last address on file and failure to update information could result in a missed opportunity or removal from the list. Email your address changes to housing@ncfrha.com.
- Read every letter we send you carefully and completely.
- You will have directions and deadlines on the letters we mail you. You must follow the directions and meet the deadlines. If you do not return items by the deadline, you will be removed from the waiting list.
